New Project: KTH BigDataBase and Enabling Data Sharing

Published Apr 08, 2020

The project aims to require and implement a database that scalably manages large amounts of data with an initial focus on real estate and user data as well as data from cities

The project aims to develop structures for information management and dissemination of data from primarily KTH operations. These structures are tested by building a full-scale database for KTH Live-In Lab and KTH-MIT Senseable Stockholm Lab. The structures must be generic and can be used to create databases for other types of data. The data should be made available to various players in a safe and reliable way. Issues such as data quality, scalability and communication speed are taken into consideration.
