Arkitektkopia joins the KTH Live-In Lab collaboration

Published Dec 01, 2016

Arkitektkopia joins the KTH Live-In Lab collaboration and provides licenses to their project toolkit Byggnet for the projecting of the testbed.

Managing and structuring informantion is a fundamental part of raising a testbed to help accelerate the innovation rate in the construction and real-estate industry. KTH Live-In Lab will during the coming years build a database of real-estate-data, building-data and user-data to be used for research and development of the sustainable and resource-efficient buildings of the future.

In this initial stage of projection and production of the testbed, Byggnet will provide the platform for managing and distributiing this data. The goal with the collaboration between KTH and Arkitektkopia is to develop a way to provide value from the large amounts of data that arise from the projection phases of buildings. This information will seldom leave the group of players who created it and is never manifested into actual future value.

- We support the research at KTH and will take ou full responsibility to facilitate and help the coming generatons with their passion and their energy for development, says Rikard König, production manager for Byggnet at Arkitektkopia.

The projection phase for the testbed is currently underway and will be finished by summer 2017.
