Jonas Anund Vogel, director KTH Live-In Lab, recently participated in the event “The Swedish Model – a story of successful partnerships” and discussed collaboration between industry and academy.

The two-day event was held in Sweden House in Washington D.C and arranged by KTH and City of Stockholm. The aim of the event was to promote collaboration between different stakeholders in Sweden and the United States.

“It was two intense days filled with everything from workshops to presentations. Many new contacts were made, and soon the first delegation from the USA will be visiting KTH Live-In Lab in Stockholm”, says Jonas Anund Vogel.

During the event, KTH showcased several innovation and research projects, including KTH Live-In Lab. Jonas Anund Vogel also held a presentation together with Lukas Ljungkvist from Senseable Stockholm Lab.

“Both KTH Live-In Lab and Senseable Stockholm Lab use Stockholm as a testbed, but on different levels. Senseable Stockholm Lab uses the city itself as a testbed, while KTH Live-In Lab focuses on buildings”, says Jonas Anund Vogel.
