Linda Teng Nominated for Innovation Leader of the Year 2025
Linda Teng, Concept Manager for student and researcher housing at Akademiska Hus, has been announced as one of the finalists for Innovation Leader of the Year 2025 in the private sector - an award initiated by RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, the industry organization Innovationsledarna and Vinnova.
Linda Teng, board member of Live-In Lab, has through strategic collaboration and co-creation been active in the development of test environments as well as nfluencing policy and regulatory changes. She has demonstrated an exceptional ability to combine research, practical development, and policy to create value for an entire industry. Her engagement has generated tangible results, including reduced CO₂ emissions and increased social inclusion through the new types of housing concepts.
In addition to Teng’s work at Akademiska Hus and her engagement with Live-In Lab, she is a board member of Svenska Colivingförbundet and Studentbostadsföretagen, where she has contributed to the development of new housing solutions promoting both sustainability and social well-being.
Linda Teng’s nomination highlights how strategic innovation leadership can generate long-term value for both organizations and society.
The winner of Innovation Leader of the Year will be announced on November 18 at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden in Stockholm. Participants can attend in person or online. Registration is available via RISE.
