Researchers Sara Ilstedt and Martin Sjöman, both from KTH, are authors of a paper about Co-Kitchen, presented at the Design Research Society conference this summer.

The paper ”The value of being close: Social and ecological sustainability in co-living for students” describes an interdisciplinary and experimental research project on Co-Living for students, and focuses in particular on the social aspects and new practices of living together. The authors Sara Ilstedt och Martin Sjöman conclude that a small homelike environment has great potential to create the social belonging young people need as well as spreading sustainable practices.
